Game Description
Gunsmith Simulator is a detailed and realistic simulation game where you get to run your own gunsmith workshop. The story starts when your grandfather decides to retire and leaves his gunsmith business to you. Your main job is to repair, restore, and customize all kinds of firearms for different clients, using real-world gun parts and tools. You’ll get emails from customers (and sometimes your grandpa!) asking for repairs or upgrades, and you use your workshop’s computer to accept jobs, order parts, and even bid for rare guns at the auction house.
How the Game Works
- Assembly and Disassembly: You take apart guns piece by piece, clean them, replace broken parts, and put them back together. The game is very hands-on, and you use your mouse and keyboard to unscrew, clean, and reassemble each part. If a gun has a wooden handle, you can use the wood shop table to carve and varnish new parts. For rusty metal, you use special tanks to clean them up.
- Customization: You can add all sorts of accessories, like scopes, grips, lasers, flashlights, and even paint or decals to make each gun unique. This lets you create the perfect firearm for each client, or just for fun.
- Workshop Management: As you complete jobs, you earn money and experience. You can use this to unlock new tools and machines, making your workshop better and more efficient. You also gain perks, like discounts on parts or faster assembly skills.
- Testing Guns: Once you finish a gun, you can take it to the firing range to test it out. There are different mini-games, like target shooting, clay pigeon shooting, and even close-quarters combat trials. This is a fun way to see if your repairs worked and to enjoy the realistic gun sounds and shooting mechanics.
- Progression: As you work on more guns, you unlock mastery for specific models, making it easier and faster to fix those types in the future. There’s a skill tree where you can improve your abilities, like unscrewing parts faster or getting better deals online.
Graphics and Sound
The game has very detailed graphics, especially on the guns themselves. You can see the shine on metal parts and the grain in wooden stocks. The sound effects are also realistic, from the click of screws to the bang of firing a gun at the range. The background music is simple, so you can focus on your work, but you might want to play your own music after a while.
