If you thought the first game was weird, High On Life 2 is here to prove that the galaxy can get a lot weirder. Released on February 13, 2026, this sequel from Squanch Games doubles down on the “trash-talking firearms” and psychedelic sci-fi humor that made the original a breakout hit.
Set five years after you took down the G3 Cartel, you are now the most famous bounty hunter in the universe. However, your “cushy” life is upended when a mysterious figure from the past puts a bounty on your sister, Lizzie. To save her, you’ll have to take on Rhea Pharmaceuticals, an evil corporate conglomerate that is turning humans into antidepressants.

What’s New: Skateboarding and “Gatlian” Growth
The biggest gameplay shift in the sequel is the introduction of the Skateboard. What started as a scrapped idea for the first game has become the “central pillar” of movement here.

No. Following his resignation from Squanch Games in 2023, Justin Roiland is not involved in the development or voice acting of High On Life 2. The studio has moved forward with a new creative team and cast.
Is Kenny the Gatlian in the sequel?
Kenny does not return as a primary usable weapon in the sequel. The story focuses on a mix of existing favorites like Sweezy and Knifey, alongside a brand-new roster of talking firearms.
How long is the game?
