Victoria 3: Grand Edition is a super detailed strategy game where you get to run your own country from 1836 to 1936. How to Play on Windows 7
Victoria 3 is made for Windows 10 and 11, but you can still play on Windows 7 with a few tricks:
- Rename the dbghelp.dll file in the game’s binaries folder.
- Copy dbghelp.dll from C:\Windows\SysWOW64 to the game’s binaries folder if needed.
- Install the Paradox Launcher v2 using the included installer.
- Run the game as administrator from the installation folder.
- Update the Paradox Launcher to the latest version if you have issues.

How to play on Windows 7?
- Run “KexSetup_x64Rel.exe” from “_Windows 7 Fix” folder and install that extension
- Open “binaries\victoria3.exe” file properties in Explorer, then “VxKex” tab
- Check “Enable VxKex for this program” and “Report a different version of Windows, Windows 10” checkboxes, Apply, OK
- Run the game as usual
